has many child-friendly attractions to keep entertained. Hungarians welcome children with warm smiles and even give up seats for them in a bus. The tourist attractions in the city are very lively such as the Amusement Park which has carousal and a Ferris wheel. There is also “Aquaworld” that is a large indoor water park and a “kid’s world” with a playhouse and slides.

The best playground in Budapest is the Millenaris Park. Nearby is an interactive exhibition for kids known as the House of Future. The lake in the City Park is suitable for rowing or skating. There are wooden castles and slides in the park, and a fenced playground with monkey bars and a tree house. Another attractive destination is the Orczy Kalandpark situated in District 8 that offers exciting adventures to keep the kids entertained for long hours.

There are many aquatic fun activities such as swimming pools, slides and much more for children as well as people of all ages. The Margaret Island is a big recreational park that has indoor and outdoor pools, a small zoo and playgrounds. People can rent inline skates, bicycles and ‘bringohinto’, which is a four wheeler for four.

Another exciting place is the Gorzenal Skate Park where kids can skateboard, rollerblade and cycle around. The Museum of Transport has old cars, trains and motorcycles. People also enjoy rides on a vintage car at the Hungarian Railway Museum.

There are great outdoors at the Buda Hills for adventurous activities. “Challenged” is a fun-filled place with various excitement activities such as canopy walks, zip-lines, the children’s railway and horseback riding.  Budapest is also known for its underground caves such as Buda Castle Labyrinth or the Szemlohegyi Cave. There are many child-friendly restaurants where they also offer a kids corner for children to play.
